"Love in Rome" is a film that alternates between four separate short stories. There is no connection between the stories, but it is interesting.
1. The story of a couple in New York meeting their prospective son-in-law
2. The story of an American guy falling in love with his girlfriend's best friend
3. The story of a conservative couple who went into the city and cheated on their own
4. Is the story of an ordinary office worker becoming famous overnight
?

Here are the parts of the stories that I find interesting:

The highlight of the first story is of course the director Woody Allen himself. Allen, a retired but disgruntled former opera manager, was hooked when he heard his would-be in-law, Fabio Armiliato, sing "Turandot" in the bathroom. Armiliato didn't want to sing in public at first, but Allen persuaded him with choreographed dialogue. Coincidentally, in another film called "Sexy Boys", Allen also persuaded an old friend to become a prostitute. These gory stories tell us to never try to reason with Allen.

Story 2,
if I were Jack (Jessie Eisenberg)'s girlfriend, I wouldn't say so much about Monica (Ellen Page). Before she came to Rome for so long, she said that her boyfriend must not be able to handle it. Not to mention that after Monica came, every time he broke the atmosphere, chatted to death, embarrassed the atmosphere, and tried his best to turn himself into a loser. The last thing is to let her boyfriend go to Rome alone with Monica when she knows her loser. All this illogical points to two reasons. First, Woody Allen is too functional in the character of this "girlfriend". But how could it be wrong that Allen is a master. So, second, there is conspiracy. Remember the handsome Italian guy Jack introduced to Monica? In fact, the "girlfriend" has so much foreshadowing, just to be with this handsome Italian guy, and Monica is her support. Analysis is complete.

story three,
Of course, this actress with big breasts is very important. Almodovar is a long-term co-actor. There is nothing else to say, the story of migrant workers going to cities to work.

Story 4,
I felt bitter when I saw Benigni, which was related to the shadow that "Beautiful Life" left me in my heart when I was very young. So no matter what state he is in, I always feel that he will be bullied in the next second.

Alright, leopard tail.

  • Jack: It's incredible that the Colosseum is still standing after thousands of years. You know, Sally and I have to re-tile the bathroom every six months.

  • Monica: I call that futile feeling, Ozymandias Melancholia.
