"Goosebumps" and "Facilities"

"Goosebumps" is a famous American children's book. This novel has a fixed pattern: the male protagonist (usually a boy around ten years old) moves with his parents to a seemingly peaceful town, and meets his favorite girl or good Friends (sometimes the two appear at the same time to form a Harry Potter-style adventure trio), and then, strange things continue to happen, the situation worsens, the friends must turn the tide to save the town.
Movies adapted from novels naturally cannot escape this routine. Monsters, girls, and good friends are all indispensable. The special effects are good, and the degree of completion is very high. Regrettably, the boy grew up too ugly, which seriously affected the pleasure of watching movies. In order to make him look less ugly, the director had to resort to a trick: to find him an even uglier friend, ah, yeah, this is really, director, have you seen Zola's "Facilities"?

It's not scary, it's a bit boring, it feels like a collection of monsters like a cabin in the woods, but this is just a very bland youth movie, it's not scary, it's not good-looking
