The old man was obsessed with money. For his own money, he let his son take drugs and turned him into a walking dead. His grandson was kidnapped. After his ears were cut off, the old man compromised. Even when he paid the ransom, he was thinking about how to get the best benefit. In the end, he had to pay the ransom because the detective's words threatened him. Throughout the movie, Gero's mother's love for Gero , save Gero by all means possible, treat money rationally, and donate all the old man's artworks in the end. In this movie, I thought about the kidnapping of Li Ka-shing's son. Li Ka-shing not only paid the ransom but also didn't call the police. He said a word, the money can be earned again, and there are only two sons. Although this movie is not thrilling, it is mainly derived from life and is more realistic.
