Too late to meet Colin as Darcy

I like this novel. At first, I admired and expressed different women's views on love and marriage. Every character in the pen has a personality. Later, I watched the movie version in 2005 and felt that the heroine was so beautiful and good-looking.
Recently a friend recommended this version of Pride and Prejudice, and I fell in love with Colin since then.
After reading this edition, I realized that this book is the originator of the overbearing president! ! Colin's arrogant little eyes, that expression! It really played Darcy alive, and it is also the performance that is closest to the original!
Colin's version of Darcy doesn't speak much, and it all relies on his eyes to express his emotions, but! How can you act so well! Admiring eyes, hurt eyes, excited eyes, the acting is really in place. Colin completely deduced Darcy's domineering and nobility, it's awesome!
Let's talk about the heroine, because I have seen the movie and liked the heroine in the movie version very much, so I rejected the heroine of this version at first, thinking how could the heroine be so fat and so old. But taste it slowly. In fact, Elizabeth in the book should be like this. She doesn't smirk often, has character, and has her own ideas. The contrast between the heroine's character and other people's characters is particularly obvious.
All in all, it's pretty good!

I don't know why, every time I feel unhappy, I just take it out and watch it, and I feel much better.

The BBC version of Pride and Prejudice in 1995 is a masterpiece. I have seen the movie version in 2005, and I am very happy, but compared with the BBC TV series version, it is slightly inferior. This version is faithful to the original, and shows the humanistic style of the Austen era in its original form. Colin Firth's eyes are subtle and expressive, while Jennifer Ehle's graceful smile and raised eyebrows are fuller and more vivid to Elizabeth

Pride and Prejudice quotes

  • [They are discussing the fact that Wickham has, in essence, extorted from them a fortune for the misery he is likely to face in marrying Lydia]

Mr. Bennet: I should have taken better care of you all.

    [Bitterly]

Mr. Bennet: The satisfaction of prevailing upon one of the most worthless young men in Britain might then have rested in its proper place. As it is, the thing is done - with extraordinarily little inconvenience to myself. When you take into account what I shall save on Lydia's board and pocket allowance, I am scarcely ten pounds a year worse off.

[Elizabeth gives him a look that says she recognizes the irony of his self-congratulation. He looks down]

Mr. Bennet: I am heartily ashamed of myself, Lizzy. But don't despair, it'll pass; and no doubt more quickly than it should.

  • Lady Catherine de Bourgh: I am most seriously displeased.
