The film is the directorial debut of "Tron: Legacy" two writers Brian Krugman and Lee Stearnsao.
Although Rory (Bradley Cooper) has been working hard to write, he has never been favored by the publishing house, and he has to rely on his father to help him from time to time. When he and his new wife, Dora (Zoe Saldana), went to Paris for their honeymoon, they bought a manuscript bag at a second-hand store. Rory stumbled across an old novel manuscript inside, and the content fascinated him. In the end, he took the novel as his own and published it, which finally made him famous and become a new cutting-edge in the literary world. And a mysterious old man (Jeremy Irons Jeremy Irons) suddenly appeared, told Rory that he was the author of the novel, and told him a true love story that happened in Paris in the novel.
In the face of all this, Rory felt a sense of guilt that he couldn't escape. Will he take success for granted, or is it a moral test?

After a lot of foreshadowing, in the end it was discovered that he didn't actually say anything and just wanted to take some of your time. Not every failed life can be summed up in a meaningful way. If you fail, he also fails. Those who should fail will still fail. Stop struggling.

Sure enough, the screenwriter turned the director, and the three-layer story nested in the form of author and story. The three stories are originally independent, but deliberately blur the boundaries, making you feel that they all come from the truth. Except for the obvious second and third layers, even the first and second layers are also blurred. Of course, the story is not complicated, and there are narrators and listeners on every level. Make choices and accept choices
