"Battle of Midway"

At the beginning of the film, Yamamoto made his own views on the military strength of Japan and the United States. There are not many dialogue scenes with such long characters, but more long-shot descriptions of the war scenes. There is a lot less description of the characters' hearts. From the perspective of commercial films, it has done enough to enjoy the audience's visual impact. It is a very good visual feast for cinema movies.

From the perspective of grasping the degree of historical restoration, it is a good color story documentary. It is a pity that it is just a simple recording and restoration, and the dialogue when the soul characters appear on the stage is missing. So it feels a bit similar to the composition account of elementary school students. All-in-one, all the same. Simply attracting the audience with a bloody and grand scene will inevitably lead to less emotional ups and downs.

The cruelty of war is not only manifested in material damage. The tear in the heart, the desire to survive. Unfinished, nostalgia for the surviving world and pass by helpless. It can arouse the audience's emotional explosion even more.

Generally speaking, the film works of 55 to 50 have a visual feast and the shock of the eardrums. There is a lot less depiction of human nature and the outbreak of inner tangled emotions!

The Chinese are rich, and since they have invested, let’s just shoot it. The script is meant to be a perfunctory job. The director who shot 2012 went back to shoot the air raid and naval battle. It's a dimensionality reduction blow. I don't hate this kind of traditional war movie with a partial plot, but it's a bit boring to shoot the Battle of Midway like this, and the writers and directors are too unwilling to pursue.

I prefer these "unprogressive" Hollywood directors who retain the aesthetic interests of 30 years ago like a fossil, which is completely different from the retro style that young directors are keen to tinker with.
