Danny Boyle's early films are all amazing, although Qianfen is the first solo film, it has already begun to appear as a master. Guessing the train directly pushed him to the throne of a master. Although the later film lacks the courage of the world, it will not be limited to a single style. It is also a characteristic of DB.
DB uses bright contrast colors to create a romantic environment. Three friends live in a lake-blue house and have a sweet dream. An unexpectedly large sum of money broke the balance between the three, and finally died of casualties. In this film, the apartment represents this idealized life, and money is the real society. A story in which an ideal is defeated by reality.
Danny Boyle is good at writing about the collision of utopia and life. It can be seen that DB's yearning for utopia. But at the end of these films, idealization will be defeated by reality. Perhaps in Danny Boyle's mind, the so-called utopia can only exist in the pure land in his heart.
