Violent aesthetics, dare to be more beautiful?

As John Woo said, this film is a philosophy, about its own justice. What is justice, a thousand people may have a thousand different opinions. But don't get caught up in the details, and stick to the justice you insist on to the end is the real justice, and maybe this is the answer. Just like the title, a policeman who doesn't look like a policeman, a killer who doesn't look like a killer, a policeman who only catches bad guys, a killer who only kills bad guys, a policeman who knows the law and breaks the law, a tough and tender killer, the two of them are both enemies and friends, and they are both. The strong contrast is seamless, explaining to us the justice and perseverance that the film wants to express. Coupled with Wu's violent aesthetics, it is such a textbook-like film with blood, tenderness and touching. It's a shame to watch this film on and off.

The exchange of good and evil between the two Jiang Ye in the "Cross and Cross Seas" shows Wu Yusen's sense of humor of middle-aged people, which in turn is a change in mentality (so I always love "Cross and Cross" more)... And Zeng Ye was really pimping the two male protagonists here... When Li Xiuxian met Chow Yun-fat, I knew why the latter was called "super actor, super idol"...

Good guy? Maybe it was just used to deceive people. A few years later, this movie became "Changing Face"
