Watch a movie on and off. After living by it, I don't have the mood to watch movies anymore. On a weekend afternoon a long time ago, I lay lazily in bed watching this "Mirror". The movie is just like the rhythm of weekend life, loose but at ease. I was ashamed to look at it and fell asleep (a bit like "burning a piano and boiling a crane"), and I remembered that the afternoon I slept very comfortably, it was more arbitrary than falling asleep reading a book, and it came as smoothly as running water .
Then this weekend, a long time later, I occasionally remembered that there was a movie that seemed to be "finished". Dandan's rare sadness as a bachelor on Double Eleven was stimulated into excitement by merchants with ulterior motives such as Taobao, Jingdong, etc. After tossing for most of the weekend, my heart finally calmed down on the last night.
Emotions about movies are always closely related to those who watch movies. I think it is really taboo to take a movie apart and watch it, because it is difficult for you to have a complete emotion. Your experience and perception of movies will be affected by time. Broken and greatly reduced, it is difficult to obtain a higher level of aesthetic experience.
When I first watched this film, what I felt the most was the mirror. The mirror is like a hole in time and space. The time, the scene, and the people in the mirror are changing silently, and the "source code" of this change is the director's own thoughts. In other words, consciousness, memory, every film, especially autobiographical ones, is largely subjectively presented by the director, and the origin of all disillusionment is the director's mood.
At the end of this time, I don’t have much feeling about the mirror. The mirror is just a technique, and the essence of the film is the theme that the director wants to express. Apart from the director’s own experience, what I see most is about mothers. Timeless theme. The beautiful, kind and temperamental mother who is sensitive and almost neurotic, the lost mother who is old and withered but still has a rebellious expression, although time has robbed them of the tenderness in their little swaddling clothes The children of old age, their faces are stooped, their bodies are bleached, their hair is bleached, but no matter how long the time passes, the tender hands of their little children will still hold them, and the small steps will still follow. Around them, the child is always there, even in dreams, even in their shared memories in their hearts.
