I have to say that Japanese horror movies are really good! From "Midnight Bell" to "The Grudge" is one of the few films that I still remember after watching it. If I can still think of it two days after watching it, I am still horrified, then its horror is achieved! Horror movies are nothing more than the use of sound, background, and all the rendering of the lonely and helpless isolated environment, so that the viewer can feel the same experience and make the horror real.
But most of them will give a statement at the end, talk about the cause and effect of the matter, why it happened, how it ended, etc. A few days ago, I watched the "Haunting of the Mortuary" in the United States at the end of the mother's prayer to save the dead, and then everything became a family. can live together peacefully. However, Japan is often not, the reason is there, but the grievances have not dissipated! Regardless of whether the protagonist is kind or not, there is no good outcome, either dead or about to die, the desolate end, and everything is still shrouded in terror! Very perverted!
So it always seems like I haven't finished reading it, and that's it? Even the kind volunteer Rijia died? ! Then I hurriedly watched "The Grudge 2" and found it was the same! It didn't satisfy my desire for a happy ending, which is why I couldn't appreciate tragedy. When I was in junior high school, the two bleak endings of "Notre Dame de Paris" and "Muslim's Funeral" made me feel unhappy for a long time
. He tortured and killed his wife, his wife's resentment killed his son and husband, and then the resentment of the undead merged into a curse and killed all the people involved, even relatives and friends! More and more grudges are accumulating, cursing every visitor, as long as they have touched this house, not one is left! In such an already terrifying atmosphere with a tragic ending, trying to create horror but rarely mentioning human nature and hope, the death of the police and volunteers annihilated all possible saving factors, leaving only fear and resentment! Like the devil that Solomon's seal can't seal, the small people are powerless to resist, and can only wait to be swallowed up, one by one, and the difference is the way of death. Endless death, really a bit BT! so, it seems that it is a horror movie for the sake of horror. I was nervous and passed it with a smile~
