Americans enjoyed a happy life for decades after World War II, but now they are confronted with huge national debts, a huge gap between the rich and the poor, and a decline in the standard of living of ordinary people. After 20 years of hard work and development, when the quality of living water may not be as good as that of the United States in the 1960s and 1970s, we were surprised to find that the problems we encountered tended to be similar to those of the Americans. Americans at least still have the ultimate weapon of one person, one vote against the rich 1%, so what can we hope for?
