British films are often as quiet and elegant as oil paintings. The poetic and idyllic scenery is fascinating. The orderly villages in the movie are scattered in the green fields, and there are solemn castles, which add to the infinite charm of the English countryside. When I was a child, I read many novels set in the English countryside. When I grew up, I watched movies adapted from novels and indulged in these amazing film scenes, such a romantic pastoral beauty, young girls and boys, how could it be possible Does not breed love.
"Emma" was Jane Austen's last film.
Emma features a female protagonist. It tells the story of women's pursuit of love, freedom and equality.
Emma was a beautiful, intelligent, and rich girl, and she was a visionary at the same time. She zealously follows the romances around her, but stubbornly believes she'll never get caught up in it.
She took it upon herself to direct love after love for the orphaned daughter Harriet. When Harriet mistakenly thinks she is in love with Mr. Knightley, the magistrate, Emma realizes that she is also in love with Mr. Knightley. Although this was contrary to her vow of never marrying at the beginning, she had to give up her innocent vow when she fell in love.
One of Emma's famous quotes that I remember best is: "I will not become a poor old maid, only poverty makes a single person scorned by the public! A single woman who has a small income must be very ridiculous, and it must be arousing. Nasty, old maid! Just the laughing stock of young boys and girls; but a rich celibate woman is always respected, and can be as rational and happy as anyone." This passage tells us that women have always had to Rich, leftover girl is the subtext for Loser.
I like the colors and characters of this movie very much. I watched it because of the cover. Overall, it is still ok to recommend.
