TRY TO REMEMBER

"ET". When it was rescreened on its 20th anniversary, I bought the disc and went home. Because I saw the classic lens on the cover: the little boy carried ET across the white moon. Flying is a childhood dream, I have had it too.
After more than half a year, I finally revisited the film. It's been eight years since the first time I watched it.
Eight years. From ten to eighteen years old. Experienced many things, big and small, and met all kinds of people. From a little girl to a big girl, growing up brings a lot of complexity, taking away a lot of innocence and beauty.
Twenty years. I was wondering where the first group of people who watched "ET" are now. From how old to how old. Whether it has gone from child to teenager to youth to middle age. Most of my life has passed. Time must have taken away more green days and months, from persistence to submission, from hard work to living in peace. This is the present world, a must for all people.
We are all running with time, afraid of being left behind by it, so we run blindly with it. It was not until I looked back suddenly that we found that the lost time was growing weeds in the deserted place, no one cares about it, and the wind is sluggish...
And, only ET, the ET from a distant planet, is still the same. Big head, big brain, big eyes, curious and innocent eyes, full of emotions, smart by nature, naughty, cute, kind and simple.
Only children can understand children in their mood. Elliot seems ridiculous to use colorful and sweet chocolate beans to attract ET, which is entirely the child's mind. ET craned his neck to be taller than Ellie, he understood what he said, and he responded to him with his own mischief.
The thinking of the two children, therefore, because they understand, they are closely linked, and they can interact with each other.
Elliot said to his sister: "Adults can't see ET."
Yes, adults can only see his body. They need to know how this alien body breathes, survives, and what its internal structure is. They thought that using advanced science and technology, those cold appliances and cold liquids could save this life. Stupid and pitiful, but worthy of sympathy.
And only children know to show their sincere feelings to call ET. Come to wake up ET.
Elliot shouted to ET: "Stay with me! Please! Together! I will right here!" He said to ET packed in ice: "You must be dead, because I don't know how to feel. I don't feel anymore. Not much. You are going elsewhere now, I will miss you forever, and miss you every day! ET, I love you!"
And ET, after all, is just a child. A child who loves home. He has always used the only language reserve to describe his inner desires. He needs to go home, he needs to go back to his kind, this cruel planet is not his home. HOME. He kept reading.
Innocent child. When he woke up, he opened his mouth and announced that he was leaving and going home in a brisk mood. Innocent child. Elliot only saw ET waking up, and didn't pay attention to the words in his mouth.
In the end, ET can only take away a pot of blooming flowers from this short-lived planet. Everyone has their own sense of belonging, ET has it, and Elliot has it too. It is impossible for ET to stay on earth, just as it is impossible for Elliot to leave with ET. This boy, who has been neglected in the family, is lonely and longs for love, he has his own growth to experience. What ET gave him was an important bridge in his growth, gave him a transition, let him understand the true meaning of love and the truth of death, and understood the delivery and cherishment of feelings.
Baby Annie wrote in "The Awakening": "Before he left, point his forehead with a glowing finger. It said, I will be here. It will be in the rest of his life. It will travel through life and leave it unacceptable. The miracle of the rumors. The spaceship draws a gorgeous rainbow in the sky. What our emotions bring to us is never a request, but only aftertaste." I always like this evaluation.
Not to be rumored. Yes, it cannot be rumored.

In childhood, there can be no fairy tales, but ET can’t exist.
The princes and princesses in fairy tales are unrealistic, but ET actually existed. Like a chinchilla, like a flower fairy, like an elf. It’s just that we all forgot...

80/100, appearance and mechanism are close to Hayao Miyazaki's movies: cute pet movies that have been sci-fied, and implicit translation of mythological narratives. Poetic imagination and sincere emotion are perfectly balanced, and the sight and voice are extremely precise, all thanks to Spielberg's execution. (Science fiction movies in the 1980s really liked to use smoke to shape them.

The film transcends all barriers and touches people's hearts with a simple but eternal story. The fairy tale plot and allegorical revelation in the film make the audience laugh with tears.
