As the title says, Alan Wood's films are neither good nor bad, only interesting and uninteresting.
Of course, I haven't seen any of his uninteresting films, and the mark of his films is probably interesting.
After reading a lot of movie reviews, they are all talking about new money and old money, but I don’t think it’s obvious. Maybe the male and female lead broke up because they just felt boring. It’s the kind of sudden loss of interest in continuing, just like my favorite Midnight. Barcelona, the reason why the blonde girl finally decided to leave, she has experienced all the experience, she doesn't want to continue the status quo, and wants to change, it is an emotional decision in an instant.
Allenwood seems to have a natural sense of mockery towards women. The heroine's superficiality and vanity, and the pretentious portrayal are very vicious, a bit like Somerset Maugham's stylus. Even the touching male protagonist's mother in the whole play talked to him and talked about his entrepreneurial history. At first glance, he was very moved, but in retrospect, he felt that something was wrong, and it seemed ironic.
Of course, what the show tells us is that there is no free lunch in the world, and everything has to pay a price. This is true.
