Mediocre happiness

I watched the video of "Amadeus" in 90 years, and then bought its original LD in 1992. I still think this is the most outstanding film in the history of film so far. I remember that the day I received the LD was a weekend afternoon. I couldn’t wait to return to the company and watched it in the office. At that time, my girlfriend was with me. She felt boring after watching for more than ten minutes, but she still stayed with me. I watched it. But when she watched it with me, she almost used up two packs of tissues.
The film deserves its name and won 8 Oscars in 1985 including Best Picture and Best Director. Murray Abraham, who played the role of court musician Salieri, won the Oscar for Best Actor. Antonio Salieri was a famous composer in the eighteenth century. He wrote more than 40 operas in his life. In addition to his status as a composer, he is also a music teacher. In his long list of students, there are LV Beethoven, F. Liszt, JN Hummel, F. Schubert and so on. He was also one of the founders of the Academy of Music in Wien (1817). There is a legend that the court musician poisoned Mozart. The film shows the talented Mozart through the perspective of Salieri, a self-proclaimed mediocre representative.
We are not researchers of music history, and there is no need to delve into the true colors of history. In the long river of history, the mud and sand are all down, but the immortality is indelible. Salieri's pain and sorrow is that he is close to genius, yet far away and immortal. Not as completely happy as we are.
