Ruined by the heroine

Very Luc Besson (currently my favorite director) movie. Full of romance, bizarre, fantasy, heroism. It's a love movie with clear lines.

Although the main element is love, it is much more than love. There is also a very deep connotation, that is, "self-acceptance".

Movies are in black and white. I don't like black and white movies very much, and watching black and white movies is always uninteresting. But the black-and-white reconciliation of the film feels like a match made in heaven. The beauty of Paris is like a gorgeous postcard under the black and white lens, and the simple and kind personalities of the two protagonists are also perfectly contrasted by the black and white.

However, there is a flaw, a fatal flaw. Actor, leading actress. The appearance of the female lead is very seductive, which is quite in line with the temperament required by the movie, but the acting skills are a little worse. The risks the angels took to help Andre in the film, her premonition of dissatisfaction with God, and other character changes were all ignored by the 1.8-meter actress. The accumulation of feelings should not be put on heavy makeup, because if the movie is too much, it will become a mannequin who has been stripped naked. However, it is absolutely impossible to have no emotional accumulation. Otherwise, the final burst/climax still looks like a stripped mannequin. And it makes it even more baffling.

Overall, the actress is sorry Luc Besson!
