A perfect symmetry of nostalgia

The clues to the theme of "Farewell" in Racing 3 are so detailed that they are accumulated from the failures of McQueen (we were expecting a reversal with so little shining).

In fact, Racing 2 is also the theme, but it is a "trick" to write the negative corner of the classic car; the fangs are killing the Quartet, but the times are moving forward after all. Now McQueen once again drove into the fuel channel, not to "just refuel without changing tires" or "change tires as fast as possible", but "listen, you should run this race". So everything has meaning, not only the foreshadowing of Car 3, but also the foreshadowing of Cars 1 and 2-we were all young, and we will eventually grow old.

The Piston Cup is never the most important, people/cars are. This is back to the core of Pixar's creation.

(Writing like this first, come back and write more when you have time.)
