"American Pie": the first time

A movie I saw a long time ago. Speaking of having watched it, I actually didn't watch the whole film at all. When you look at it, quickly go to the place you want to see and probably take a look at it. At that time, all I saw was some of the funny shots and XXX in it. After so many years, I really don't know what the film is about. So, today I turned on the computer and looked at it again. There is another reason to watch again. I want to finish watching the whole series, of course starting from the first part.

The film from 1999 is a bit outdated. Now is an information age, and many things are updated very quickly. For example, the webcast in the film is too outdated now. The shapes, costumes and setting of the characters in the film look very earthy. The scene design and modeling of American dramas are far beyond it. It's been eleven years after all. In the blink of an eye, time flies so fast.

Although the external things of the film can't keep up with the times, the core of the story is the eternal topic-growth. The growth experience of a group of high school students before the prom is full of laughter and thinking. These are the journeys that everyone needs to go through or have already gone through. Such stories will always have an audience.

This is a sex comedy with "sex" at its core. The movie must be full of jokes related to it. It seems that it can still make me laugh. For example, the actor's very embarrassing dance, Finch who likes a mature woman, and so on. I really admire Hollywood screenwriters who can integrate "sex" jokes into all kinds of ordinary daily lives.

Because it is a youth drama, handsome men and beautiful women are bound to be indispensable. There are two big beauties in the film, Mena Suvari and Tara Reid. When this movie was made, they were still young. These two women are really beautiful, I only like their beauty. These two beauties have no dew points in this film, but they do not show much in other films. Nowadays, the beautiful actress doesn't dare to take off much. It's a pity that the years are not forgiving. Tara Reid is getting uglier as it grows. There is no picture of her that looked better when she was young on the Internet. Mena Suvari is ok, but not much better.

The only actors who impressed me in the film were those who played Finch. He is so funny. Although he doesn't make many appearances, he interprets the character of the character in every action, which is great. No mention of other male actors.

When the prom is over, the film is over. I didn't expect the movie to end like this. It seems that a sequel has been planned long ago. But the choreographers didn’t expect that they made so many sequels, right?
