There are so many contradictions, fights, ruptures, tortures, confusions, temptations... in human relationships in this story, but more love. Just like the characters in Austen's novels. For example I saw Emma's shadow in jocelyn. When her friend is in the pain of divorce, she is desperate to find a better man for her friend. But the man fell deeply in love with jocelyn.
Why do we love Austin? Because she is sensitive, real, and restrained... Maybe my interpretation of her is not thorough, but I have already felt it from this film. After watching this film, I wanted to buy all of Austin's books and read them home a few times. I also wanted to join or form a book club like the people in the story. Reading good books is definitely a shortcut to improve the quality of your life. You don't need to use material to pile it up, you can also have a group of close friends.
