Seeing Vinda's gaffe at Thomas' funeral, I cried bitterly with the little hostess. Even after more than ten years, I couldn't help but choke at that scene...
From the plot, it is nothing more than a story about youth sprouts, friendships, and girls' growth. It is a very plain recording technique. There are not many performance skills to speak of. Perhaps it is just so simple, so real and unpretentious, that it is so precious and so sincere. The little actor is so good, I will never forget that when Thomas’ mother finally found Vader and returned her ring, the real expression on her face touched me, and the sentence "Don’t worry, Thomas will live." Very good, because my mother will take care of him..." The influence that has been given to me for more than ten years comes from the promise of a little girl who is so beautiful that it is beyond words. I have always remembered this line for so many years, and even forgot where it came from, but I still remember it.
I have written so many but not a single sentence is a film review, because this film has too much influence on me, so I really can't evaluate it objectively. However, I still want to say, I love her, love this cool little girl.
