Love does not forget!

Recently, I have been particularly troubled by the influence of depressed mood. One of the symptoms is frantically looking for love movies to watch. Whether it is Hollywood, Hong Kong, or South Korea, as long as there are good comments from netizens, I will not let it go. Fortunately, I did not waste my time. It really allowed me to see several classic movies. Coincidentally, I watched three movies related to memory in a row: "The Notebook of Love", "The Eraser in My Brain", "50 First Loves", the same heroine Amnesia, but the male protagonist still sticks! The three films are very different in style.

"The Notebook" is the most tender, and it is a real "holding the hand of the child, bringing the old with the child". The hero and heroine experienced the same romance when they were young. When the heroine has Alzheimer's disease, her husband and children don't remember all, and her health is not good. The hero approached the heroine by telling the story of how the two met and fell in love, trying to wake up the lover who lost her memory, but the longest time the heroine was awakened was only 5 minutes, and she would kick and beat her like a madman in an instant. The hero in his eyes is a stranger, but in this short 5 minutes, the heroine will definitely not regret choosing the hero at the beginning!

"The Eraser in My Brain" is the most delicate, which is also an inherent tradition of Korean films. Son Ye-jin and Zheng Yucheng's acting skills are superb. When Son Ye-jin's condition worsened, he suddenly remembered that the person she loved was his husband, Zheng Yucheng. Zheng Yucheng read that Son Yezhen left behind When the letter was crying, I was crying too hard, and I cried until Zheng Yucheng finally said "I love you" to Son Yezhen...

"50 First Loves" is the funniest. The aftermath of the car accident caused the heroine's memory to be only 24 hours. I have the best memory in this movie. Every day, the male protagonist picks up a conversation in a different way, and staged different scenes on the road that the female protagonist must pass through. Hope the heroine recovers in the end. I like the walrus that the male protagonist has domesticated. He can communicate with people. The last four walruses kissing is awesome!

Love is the eternal theme of human beings. When you are truly immersed in a movie, it is like touching the love of the hero and heroine as if you were there. When the movie ends and the subtitles come into view, I always think, why in real life? There are very few men like the male protagonist, because I am not the heroine, right? If there are infatuated and single-minded male protagonists everywhere, who will watch movies?

A Moment to Remember quotes

  • Su-jin: Forgiving... isn't that hard. It's just... giving away just one plain room in your heart. My grandpa said so. A true carpenter... is the one that can build a house in his heart. But in the house you've built. So well in your heart... You gave all the rooms away to your mother and to your hate. And where are you? And you're shivering outside the house. I understand. I know it's hard to forgive. But... My dad remembered that piece of wisdom... and forgave me when I almost ran off with a married man... and he permitted our marriage so easily. You know why? Forgiving... is giving your hate just a little room in your heart.

  • Su-jin: But I'm only 27. How could I be going senile?

    Doctor Lee: It's possible.

Su-jin: So... What's going to happen to me?

Doctor Lee: A mental death will come before a physical one. Better prepare yourself for what's inevitable. Medicine can slow it down. But that's about it.

    Su-jin: What about surgery?

    Doctor Lee: Do you work?

    Su-jin: Yes.

Doctor Lee: You should quit right away. Soon you won't be able to type or answer the phone, let alone organize things. Pretty much nothing. You will forget your family, friends and even yourself. All your memories will disappear completely.
