Fragment

The second black and white film I watched

The two impressive scenes are the lingering in the securities house and the house of the male and female masters.

The hustle and bustle in the stock exchange is a little different from the tone of the movie but it doesn't make you feel bad but it pushes the whole movie to make it fuller

And the lingering part is a good way to show the appearance of a couple in love.

In my opinion, what the whole film expresses is the modern concept of love: fast food love

It's a pity that I didn't get to experience this movie with my heart

Hope to have a chance to revisit

I still like the first scene the most, and I seem to be a little sorry for Alain Delon, haha. It is also a sense of alienation, love is often only a minute of heat, and there is nothing left after the heat is over. See you at 8 o'clock after the lingering, a long period of empty shots represents the passage of time, but in the end there are no two people. . .

It is not so much the love of two people as it is depicting two different worlds. Jump from the dance party to the crazy exchange, always wandering the empty soul. Space and environmental sounds have increased this difference. On the one hand, there are African drum beats that ring through the night, and on the other hand, the ringing of the telephone that never stops. In the last few minutes, the alienated scene and the indifferent body under the empty camera, everything is new life, everything is declining.

L'Eclisse quotes

  • Vittoria: As long as we were in love, we understood each other. There was nothing to understand.

  • Piero: You mind telling me what's wrong?

Vittoria: Nothing! Let's walk a bit.
