It's not that smart people love smarter

About Wilde, I didn't know much about it before watching the movie. I probably only read his fairy tales such as "The Selfish Giant", "The Happy Prince" and so on. I used to admire Churchill quite a bit, so I was also curious about Wilde, just because of the person who was most willing to talk to him. After watching this movie, I frantically collected various information about Wilde, and added various books such as "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and "Into the Deep" to the reading and purchase list. It is undeniable that I have developed a strong interest in this person, and even more and more like it as my understanding deepens. I hope I can put my own lipstick print on his tombstone in my lifetime. Closer to home, talking about the movie, first of all, I think the biggest highlight is that accompanied by Wilde's life experience, step by step into the story "The Selfish Giant". For this film, I am reluctant to comment on the good or bad of the actors and scenes. I am just grateful for such a more restored platform to show Wilde's life. In my own heart, I feel that Wilde, who has been recognized as a genius since childhood, should have a smooth life, be admired and loved, and enjoy the radiance and attention of everyone. Therefore, even if I know the love you want and I want, as long as the person involved is deeply involved, no one else has the right to interfere. I'm still full of resentment towards Percy, even escalating into verbal attacks. If it weren't for him, why would Wilde be here? The trajectory of his life will run smoothly along the original direction. This abominable prodigal made Wilde in no mood to create when he was with him, leaving the sick Wilde and tricking Wilde to sue his father, which resulted in Wilde going to prison. The hands that should be writing are used for labor, and the people who should be writing in the exquisite and gorgeous manor are decadent and panic in the dark prison. But what is a good-looking prodigal boy, who is only a little genius who writes poetry, what is it compared to the great genius of Wilde's literary creation? After being released from prison, the proud Wilde was crushed little by little, forced to borrow money from former acquaintances, unable to see his children, and was expelled from the restaurant because he couldn't pay for the meal.... Maugham's "The Veil" seems to be a more appropriate sentence to interpret this feeling. I know you are stupid, frivolous, and empty-headed, but I love you. I know your intentions, your ideals, your snobbery, and vulgarity, but I love you, I know you're second-rate, but I love you. Sometimes when you love someone, the worst situation is that instead of falling in love with the beautiful face you try to show, I fell in love with your turbid heart.

In the end, I have to say that Jude Law smiled at the end, which is quite tasteful!
