"Bottled Rockets" directed by Wes Anderson is a street prodigal comedy that begins with an escape that is not too risky. In fact, it can't be called a runaway at all-Anthony left the mental hospital with a composure and waved goodbye to the doctors and patients, without shy of anything. Anyone with a normal mind can see that this is a non-compulsory mental hospital.

However, Anthony's passionate friend Digenan is obviously not normal enough. In order to cater to Digenan's adventurous fantasy, Anthony deliberately slipped out through the window to create a scene of escape. Even if it made the doctor who saw him off look bewildered. "Look at his excitement!" Anthony pointed to his friend who was nestled in the grass, holding a telescope, and explained to the doctor.

In this way, the childish story of "Bottled Rocket" begins. Childishness constitutes the essence of Digenan's character, as well as the many wits of the film, which gives the film a gentle and humorous tone. What "Bottled Rockets" presents is actually the desire and fantasy of teenagers to enter the world.

Such a theme makes Anderson's work seem somewhat insignificant, but the enthusiasm that belongs to the common memory contained in the film can still make everyone laugh. The best thing about "Bottled Rockets" is not that it has enriched the film's insensible links, but this unconventional narrative style. The Wilson brothers, who played Digenan and Anthony, and Robert, who played their accomplices, possess the kind of serious and absurd temperament that the film needs. They turned their innocence into a kind of charm.

Digenan yearned for the life of a thief, and also formulated a 75-year plan, hoping to get rid of the boredom of reality. He is like the classmate who planned to skip class all day in high school. Although he has been repeatedly frustrated, these glorious failures will only make him more lovable. He and a few buddies who are equally clever at nothing, interpret the daydreams of our childhood. Digenan's theft plan included choosing the bookstore as the target of the robbery off-line, which eventually caused him and Anthony to run to a hotel in a remote place. It was there that Anthony fell in love.

The scene in the hotel shows the witty style of the film to the fullest. Anthony was fascinated by a Spanish-speaking girl; the girl was a waiter in the hotel named Ine. An innocent ecstasy drove Anthony to follow the girl, and babbled around her like a silly talk. The girl is gentle and quiet, complementing the inherent aromatic temperament of the film.

The scene in the billiard room constitutes the most authentic portrayal of male friendship: I was beaten in the house, but the best buddies were talking about love outside.

The director described "Bottled Rocket" as a road movie about friendship, but in fact, most of the film's moments are a kind of careless and unmarked romance.

Wes Anderson's feature-length debut, rough, jerky and tender but sincere, and quite agile.

The senseless rebellion is used to contrast the emptiness of the spiritual world. Not quite the right way, and fell asleep again in the middle of the way.
