The film uses flashbacks to tell the story of "my" parents. When his father died, his students spontaneously braved the heavy snow to go to the city to carry the coffin for their father, to their hometown in the countryside, where their parents knew each other. Father and mother should be said to be love at first sight. Their feelings are pure and flawless, not vigorous, but silently expressed to each other.
What touched me the most in the film was the faint humming of the female voice in conjunction with the film, and the tears could not stop flowing when I looked at the picture! Also, I didn't hate Zhang Ziyi at the time, her performance was pure and authentic.
