The love of the country, WE. For you, I gave up my whole country, power, and position; for you, I lost my liberty and honor, and wandered forever. Alluring, romantic and sad.
I found out about this movie by accident and watched the whole movie quietly.
First of all, I was really shocked by many costume scenes, it was beautiful, simple and low-key gorgeous.
Then I will talk about the scenes that impressed me the most, the three dances and the abdication announcement.
The first dance, the first time WE met, she is not the most beautiful, but she is indeed the most attractive in the whole house, the dance moves in the air, at that moment, they both live in each other's hearts.
The second dance is deeply rooted in love. She is the person who can bring him happiness and understand him best. Everything about her fits him so well. This beautiful and unrestrained American woman shows him love and freedom.
In the third dance, time has changed. He was sick in bed and said that he still wanted to see her dance. Although she gave him a disgusting look, she still danced his favorite dance for him.
The abdication announced that he gave up his power as a king, and also used this to escape the cage of his confinement. He was recalling all his past, and the declaration was cautious and full of affection for the past and the country. But at this time, he did not expect that what would greet him after that would not be allowed to return to his homeland until his death.
The movie uses two lines to illustrate this famous story of "loving beauty but not the country", but it is also about the mental journey of two women.
One I love you and sacrificed and gave up a lot for you but never seen, "It's too hard to be the protagonist of this century's most famous love story"; a yearning for love and struggling in a life of despair, Finally get the redemption of self, escape from the cage, and release the shackles.
It's not that I encourage cheating in marriage, I just think that this is a story that is interpreted from a female perspective and explores female awakening and self-redemption, expressed by the intersection of a world-famous woman and the most ordinary woman.
