movie of the same name

Naoko had a blurry face in my heart, and Watanabe was just a dull, sometimes indifferent boy. So it doesn't matter.
But in Norway, what I like is Reiko, Midori, the Expendables, Midori's dad going to Uruguay, Hatsumi, and even the fisherman. They have been ruined so far in the movie, and some of them are directly omitted as unrelated minor characters, which is unacceptable to me.
Many of my favorite scenes were also omitted. I guess the director may have seen Norway many times, otherwise it wouldn't have been so broken up, the preface doesn't make sense, and the places that shouldn't have been omitted have been omitted. In this movie, there is no conversation between Reiko and Watanabe outside the house, no Midoriko shouting "Don't say stupid things, I'm going to cry", no Reiko and Watanabe's final 50-song "No. A bleak funeral", without my Uruguayan dad crunching cucumbers, it doesn't matter to me whether it fits or not. It is not the Norway in my mind at all.
How wonderful is Muyue in the book. Naoko and Watanabe have the same genius. He has such an excellent talent for language. He loves Naoko and Watanabe the most in the world, but he feels inexplicably inferior, and he is constantly thinking about how to play an ideal character. Other than that, we know nothing about him. But that didn't stop him from growing up in our hearts into any white-clothed, taciturn man we've ever met before. They seem to have embarked on a path that diverged from us at a certain step in our life, and have never had the chance to meet since then.
Hatsumi, Reiko, Midoriko, although tragically tragic from the very beginning, have their own brilliance. Hatsumi is probably my favorite little character in the movie. But in fact, it has nothing to do with getting close to Hatsumi in the book, simply because she looks tough and harmless in the movie, taking her life that ended with a razor with a single stroke. This is exactly what I want. Four people died in the book (not including the death squad), and I feel the most regret for Hatsumi's death. Why do people who can be happy with anyone who is with them die inexplicably. I really can't figure it out.
In the worst case, if I can carefully supplement the meal of Midoriko and Watanabe, it will be enough for me. But also lightly. As for Kanto flavor and the pot that Midori bought with the money to buy underwear, they didn't mention a word.
Also, the background music is always too cheerful, always making me skip to 500day of summer.
Don't know why these things are more like book reviews on this movie page that has nothing to do with the book at all. Actually it doesn't matter. Those who just read the book are somewhat regretful. And the lack of charm of the film is also expected.

What's wrong, it's just not right.

In the distorted version of Twilight in Vietnam, homosexuals are forced to transform to insert the opposite sex. Director Chen's rhythm is not fast at first, and in addition to the casting, he prefers handsome men and women, which is too feminine and adds a bit of weirdness to the film. Fortunately, I do not eat Haruki Murakami.

Norwegian Wood quotes

  • Toru Watanabe: Hey, Kizuki. Unlike you, I've chosen to live. And to live the best way I can. I'm sure it was hard for you. But it's hard for me too. Because you killed yourself, leaving Naoko behind. But I will never abandon her. The reason is, I love her. I'm going to grow stronger. I'm going to grow up.

  • Storm Trooper: Mind if I give you a piece of advice?

    Toru Watanabe: Sure.

Storm Trooper: Don't feel sorry for yourself. Only degenerates feel sorry for themselves.
