Co-reading can sometimes have magical powers. Especially to help me calm down and enter immediately. Because I wanted to read Arendt's biography "Love the World" together, I was overwhelmed by the preface. I discussed several of these points with my husband, and we discussed them for a long time. He talked about the movie "Hannah Arendt" we watched together. I said that I slept early, and I guess only you watched it well. He suggested that I take a look. It was after twelve o'clock in the evening. I thought it was unlikely that I would watch it. I was still curious when I thought about it. It turned out to be too beautiful at the beginning. The Woody Allen-esque scene of an urban girl close friend reminds me that I have seen it. I dragged back and re-read all the paragraphs, especially the last classroom paragraph, which was really enjoyable and thought-provoking. If it hadn't been for the elites who read Arendt all saying that Arendt was too difficult to read, I would have understood that such a film is so light that it can bring Arendt's thinking, aura, clarity and fascination to us, including her surroundings. The gentleman, female secretary, girlfriend, and boyfriends are really charming. The language and scenes in the appearance are very charming. She is so charming when she smokes.

    1. Conscious pariahs - banal evil and "wind of thinking"; 2. The last 8 minutes of public speeches are really exciting; 3. Fascinated by Hannah Arendt.

Hannah Arendt quotes

  • Thomas Miller: So, I see you were all students of the confounding Martin Heidegger.

Heinrich Blücher: Oh, I didn't even finish High School.

Thomas Miller: But, aren't you a professor at Bard?

  • Kurt Blumenfeld: And how's my Heinrich? Is he good to you?

Hannah Arendt: Yes. Sometimes too good.

Kurt Blumenfeld: I miss arguing with him. I can no longer see my way through the maze of modern life.
