The Rise of the Machines

It's not a movie review, just feel free to express your thoughts.
1. The film was very successful before, and the schedule was reasonable, so the final box office should not be a big problem. In any case, this film should get a good box office, relative to what night banquet is infinite.
2. The film is definitely not perfect, especially the depiction of China's "this line" (media slang), which is always secretive. I don't know if it is because I am afraid of touching too many "relevant departments" or something? The final result is that if the so-called China line is deleted (such as Liu Ye), the structure of the film is more complete. In other words, it is not called Nanjing Nanjing, but a different city has little effect on the film itself. Although you can interpret this as a reflection on the ontology of war, but, en, as a film directly themed on the Nanjing Massacre, it seems that such a problem should not arise.
3. There is almost no fault in the narrative of the Japanese line. It can be seen that the academic school Lu Chuan has some inherent operation methods of the "academic school". The data collection is complete, and the narrative is emotionless, even a little cold-blooded. The film can be seen as a treatise on the mentality of the Japanese army. Personally, I prefer this expression. If the description of the Japanese army in this film and the description of the Chinese people in the devil came together, it is a relatively perfect whole. But as far as Nanjing itself is concerned, its own circle is not perfect enough.
4. I don't know whether Lu Chuan's previous data collection work was "neutral" enough. As far as the performance of the film is concerned, in the war in Nanjing City, the Chinese lost not the Japanese, but the war machine. It's not that our weapons are poor, but the "war machine" that China could mobilize at that time was simply not an order of magnitude with Japan. In the past few years, I have read a lot of information about the Nanjing Massacre, whether official, Japanese or third-party, plus Liu Ye's scene in the first half hour of the film, my feeling is that the Chinese army and its leaders have not learned how to go about it. "Losing"! For example, in the scene of the confrontation between the two Chinese armies in front of the city gate, if what is described is true, the defenders of a country's capital, facing the pressure of the army, have no courage to even give orders. Even the military orders can't be mastered, so what kind of battles are there? And at that time, whether the entire army immediately evacuated to preserve its strength, or organized street battles, fighting for every inch of land in exchange for time to retreat, it was still impossible to gather the forces in the city at that time to bluff, and then negotiate with the enemy to protect the people of a city. is an optional plan. It may not be possible to judge which one is better, but it is better than leaving a city of poor people and confused soldiers to escape without a word. Looking at the Japanese army reacted in the film, when encountering an ambush, they immediately concealed themselves and called for support. After the reinforcements arrived, they first suppressed their firepower and then seized the commanding heights to counterattack. It's all in a mechanical order, backed by a whole science of warfare behind it. Of course you can accuse the Japanese of being inhumane, but on the battlefield, will you be invulnerable because you have human nature and justice? Before and after the war, you can promote the injustice of the place and the superiority of your own morality, but after the battle begins, the measure of victory and defeat is the cold probability - the probability of surviving from the battlefield, there is no moral at all! The Chinese army's struggle was still stuck in the outbreak of RP relying on Liu Ye and Xiaodouzi, and the battle was lost for a while before it started. Fighting a well-trained war machine with the flesh and blood of a few men may win a battle, but the achievement ends there.
5. I hope the war will never come, but if it really falls on our heads, and our morality is not strong enough to "fight the enemy with our minds", we should calm down and think about how to win and how to keep as much as possible when we lose. Many hole cards. I know that this text was written in cold blood. What can we do without being cold-blooded in the face of a well-structured, full-bodied war machine? All our reflections and accusations of war, from ancient times to the present, aim to ensure that it does not come. But when it comes to the battlefield, there is only one rule - "Save yourself and destroy the enemy". Decades have passed, our blood has dried up, our tears have been shed, and the analysis of morality, justice, right and wrong is enough, now it is time to think about how to win a war when facing a powerful enemy, and when it cannot be won. Learn how to lose it. I want to say this when I stand in front of Yijiang Gate, and I also want to say it when I stand in front of Tiananmen Square.

Remember history. The editing of the film is not good, and it looks a bit scattered. Of course, this may be the effect that the director wants.

Lu Chuan pushed the judgment of right and wrong to the audience, but this seemingly objective and calm attitude showed his uncertainty. In exchange for a good citizen certificate, Secretary Rabe made a deal with the Japanese army, revealing that there were still Chinese soldiers left in the refugee camp, and finally gave his colleagues the chance to live and behaved extremely tragically, which is really inexplicable. The Nanjing city built does not have any Nanjing atmosphere.
