Terrible loneliness

The title of "I Am Legend" sounds a bit arrogant, but the box office results are indeed "legendary". The box office for the premiere was as high as $76.5 million, breaking the 7260 originally set by "Lord of the Rings 3: The Return of the King" in December 2003. The premiere result of 10,000 US dollars, and the lead actor Will Smith also created a new peak in his acting career with this film, refreshing his appearance in "Me, Robot" and "Men in Black 2". Show box office records.

The usual way of Hollywood science fiction blockbusters is to save all mankind in times of crisis, but "I am a Legend" takes a slant approach. After a major breakthrough, a virus mutated and derives from it. It spreads through the air and spreads rapidly. So humans begin to die "boom", and finally basically die, and living humans are basically mutated because of the virus. Vampire zombies. A survivor named Robert Neville is born immune to this virus. As a scientist, he takes his dog out every day to find supplies and energy, and hides in his home at night to study how to cure vampire zombies...

This movie is adapted from this movie. From the American writer Richard Mattson's 1954 novel of the same name, the 1964 film "The Last Man on Earth" and the "Last Man" released in 1971 are all adapted from this novel. Many movies of the same type have imitated the plot of this novel. The more well-known "28 Days of Surprise" is obviously deeply influenced by this work.

I believe many people have imagined what it would be like to live alone if the end of the world comes. It sounds cool at first. This is also the atmosphere created at the beginning of the film. Robert drove a top sports car at high speed in downtown New York. , Holding the M4 and aiming at the deer outside the window... People who are stuck in traffic on the way to work every day must be very addicted to seeing this. What is this concept? It's equivalent to driving a car on the Central Ring Road at five o'clock in the afternoon to more than 200 miles, drifting at high speed and turning from Tonglou to Racecourse Road, and arrived at Nanjing Road in less than a minute...Think about it.

However, when I stood on the golden street and shouted, "Buddy, have you ever drove a big run", the only response to me was my own echo. I think I should be nervous if this situation lasts for a week. After all, for people, the most terrifying thing is loneliness. "I Am a Legend" does not use cheap and fast editing and sound effects to achieve the effect, but uses many seemingly relaxed long shots to express the protagonist's lonely situation. This is also the psychological contrast created by the film, which makes the atmosphere of horror more intense.

My original intention to watch this film was still because of the box office appeal of the starring Will Smith. Science fiction action movies can be said to be his "housekeeping skills". He starred in familiar movies such as "I, Robot", "Independence Day" and "Men in Black" series. The black male star of the club, Smith has indeed maintained the magic of the box office panacea in recent years, and various movie characters can be portrayed very successfully.

As a person’s one-man show, "I am a Legend" reminds me of "Legend of a Deserted Island" starring Tom Hanks. One is to save the world and the other is to let the world to save myself. The same loneliness is unbearable. Both People are very different in the way of portraying. Personally, I prefer Smith's performance. Interestingly, it is Smith's daughter who plays the protagonist's daughter in the film. I remember that in "When Happiness Knocked on the Door", Smith played with his son and became the "Pianxiangmen No.".

In order to make this film, the crew closed New York’s Fifth Avenue and closed the Brooklyn Bridge, causing great traffic difficulties. Smith quipped: "In my acting career, there have never been so many people giving me the middle finger." That part of the Brooklyn Bridge scene involved at least 1,000 extras, as well as various military weapons and fighter jets. It cost 5 million U.S. dollars in a few days, and the cost budget for the entire film is 150 million U.S. dollars, which is an astronomical figure.

I think the shortcomings of this film are that the transition in the middle has fallen into the clichés, and the sense of breakage is strong, which turns an excellent science fiction suspense film into a motivating theme film, and the ending also gives people a feeling of abrupt end. There are still some details that can't stand scrutiny, such as where the gas and tap water come from, but the commercial film is to coax everyone into dreams. Dreaming too real is boring.

Like many American blockbusters, "I Am a Legend" is a movie that is more suitable for watching in theaters. In addition to being able to feel the visual impact of movie special effects, it can also breathe with hundreds of audiences next to you. Panic, thereby reducing the terrible feeling of loneliness that the film brings to a certain extent. I hope we can see the name of the movie "I Am A Legend" on the domestic theaters as soon as possible.

Three and a half, double ending version. I personally think that it is better for the male protagonist to blew himself up and the Night Demon to give the antidote to the female protagonist than for the two to embark on a journey to find the quarantine area. The former is far superior to the latter in terms of both the rationality of the plot and the overall conception. More in line with the theme of legend, the 2007 doomsday disaster film is not bad at this level.

The film felt great at the beginning, so I kept praying: don't suddenly appear a woman, and then fight side by side to save the world or something. . . As a result, I was afraid of what came, and I pulled out God~ Forget it, I have to give four stars to ws and sam!
