tom waits in "Short Cuts"

Changed from the best collection of short stories by Raymond Carver, Carver mixes fiction and life together. The narrative of the novel is exquisite, concise, addictive, and gloomy. Just like the men in the tom waits song with alcohol and unsatisfactory lives, so are some of the Americans in Carver's writings. The down-and-out middle-aged man Tom waits played in this film is really the one in his own song. His simple comfort didn't work for the girlfriend who had set up other people's children. When he was coaxed out to drink in the bar, he was always poor, and when he paid, he turned the whole wallet upside down. . .
Went to eat.

A well-organized non-linear narrative, unfortunately, how did medfly disappear afterward? The life of the petty bourgeoisie under a non-fatal crisis and panic, as well as sudden force majeure, the shortbus of later generations is likely to be the teacher of Robert Altman.

Trivial black humor, and Moore's red hair.
