I don’t know if it’s true, or because of the need for the plot. The deep sibling feelings repeatedly rendered in the film and the two siblings’ uneasiness after hearing that the DNA has been excluded but still can’t reverse the case. The marks are serious, making people feel a little unbelievable.
Personally, I think that the main reason why the heroine insisted on overturning the case for her brother for 18 years was not because she loved his brother, but because she firmly believed that his brother was not a murderer.
The film reflects a group of lawyers dedicated to rehabilitating those who have been wrongfully imprisoned because of lack of DNA technology, and the female protagonists who have also devoted themselves to it, which is deeply admirable.
I think the subject of law in this film and the profession of lawyers are secondary. It is more inspirational to persist in doing what you think is right and achieve success in life.
