Play yourself!

"American Animals" play yourself! This is a seemingly absurd but real robbery. Four characters and eight actors will take you back to the whole story. This is a thoroughly anti-genre, anti-traditional bandit film and anti-traditional documentary. Don't expect that what you see is a high-powered theft. The criminal process is full of loopholes, and even a little silly and ridiculous; although it is a memory of a real person, who can be sure that the memory is real? The innovative expression of cross-editing with real characters' self-reports and actors' performances increases the authenticity of the story, while breaking the "fourth wall" in time and space, enhancing the audience's sense of substitution, and adding a touch of absurdity to the overall tone! 7 points! ps: There is not necessarily a cause when things happen, and people do not necessarily know the results?

American contemporary sand sculpture college students. The deliberately preserved unreliable narrative, the clip of the event prototype and the deductive incarnation in the same time and space (especially the glance back through the car window before committing the crime) are wonderful. There isn't any designed comedy, or the reality of doing Brownian motion itself has been designed. After reading it, I actually feel that these four, this prison time is worth it (?)

It's so interesting. The many interactions between the real person and the actors are the intertext between the record and the plot. After watching it, I don't know who is performing. This kind of dismantling of the genre is very advanced, and I look forward to directing the next work.

American Animals quotes

  • Warren Lipka: Look, all I'm saying is that nothing will happen, unless you make something happen. We're supposed to be hunter-gatherers, man. And our whole life, we're just unwrapping shit. Packaging, packaging, packaging. The illusion of choice. It's bullshit, man. Everyone in here thinks that they're gonna win the lottery, but no one likes a ticket.

  • Warren Lipka Senior: Remember, quitters never win and winners never quit.
