The movie tells the story of a son who wants his father's approval. Will Ferrell participates in various sports on campus. He basically doesn't need any performances. Just looking at the old-fashioned face that is extremely disproportionate to his student status will make people laugh.
In fact, the first half of the film is quite good as a fast-food comedy, but when Phil becomes more and more paranoid, it feels a bit overwhelmed. Especially facing a group of children, I even disgusted him.
The final result was quite satisfactory. Sam got his father's approval with a very non-standard Marseille maneuver, and Phil also got the Pele ball he dreamed of with his victory in the game. When he returned the ball to his father, Old Buck was surprised, "Isn't this what you always wanted?" No, he didn't want the ball. Because He`s got balls.
