Synopsis

George (Mohanra) is a cable TV operator, and he usually likes to watch movies, especially crime, police and criminal themes.

Near his working place is a police station, and he often eats in the small restaurant opposite the police station.

George is usually very enthusiastic , and he is particularly good at using the knowledge in the movie to help some villagers. Everyone likes him, but he also offended a policeman for this.

This policeman is called Saha, who is usually arrogant and domineering, and doesn't put ordinary people in his eyes.

Everyone hated him, but they dared not say anything. Only George didn't buy his account. Once George helped the owner of a small restaurant and got married with Saha.

However, the two have not met for a long time, and they are in peace.

George has a very happy family , a beautiful wife, two lovely daughters, and a family of four enjoy themselves.

But this kind of beauty didn't last long. On a night of heavy rain, an accident happened at home.

It turned out that the eldest daughter An Jiao was taken a bath by the police chief’s son Valen during the summer camp .

Not only that, Warren also threatened An Jiao to meet in her backyard in the middle of the night with a mobile video.

Mother Rani discovered An Jiao's anomaly, and she found out what happened after asking, but because George worked overtime and the phone couldn't get through, she had to accompany An Jiao to wait for Valen.

In the middle of the night, Warren came to the agreed place and found that An Jiao had called her mother.

He was very angry and threatened to spread the video unless the mother and daughter could do what he wanted.

In desperation, An Jiao took the advantage of Warren's attention and picked up a stick to break his mobile phone, but she accidentally hit Warren in the back of the head.

In this way, Warren fell to the ground, no longer breathing.

The mother and daughter were very scared, and in a panic dragged Warren's body to the ground in their yard and buried it, but all this was seen by the awakened little daughter Anu.

The next day, when George got home, he was surprised when he heard the news, but he quickly calmed down.

As the head of the family, he swears not to let a person inferior to a beast ruin the original beauty, he must stand up to protect his family...

Film Analysis

The production cost of the film was only 45 million rupees (approximately US$630,000), but the box office revenue was as high as 500 million rupees. It is the most popular Malayalam film in history . It has also been reproduced into several versions, of which the most successful ones are. In 2015, "Manslaughter" , although the film was copied almost in its entirety, it was well-produced and received wide acclaim. After the release of the Chinese remake "Manslaughter" , the box office had a good reputation. All these successes are related to this excellent performance. The script has an inseparable relationship.

The film often lasts 160 minutes, and the previous play is too long, but the director has spent a lot of space to portray us an ordinary Indian family for a reason. After all, the movie is about the confrontation between ordinary people and the police , civilian families and elite families . The story of the contest.

Our male protagonist George has no culture and looks. He has relied on his own efforts to get everything he has now. It is mentioned more than once in the film that he has only reached the "fourth grade", but such an unpretentious and unpretentious " "Fatty", but it was far beyond our expectations. He set up a lie and deceived everyone. This also tells us, "The acquisition of knowledge is not just reading books and newspapers. The level of culture does not represent IQ." .

But a person's power is limited. George knew this well, so he took advantage of the power of the masses, but it was also his character in exchange for it. George is a man with a great sense of justice. He used his mind more than once to help the villagers fight the evil forces. So when he encounters difficulties, those who have been favored by him or those who know his deeds will help him in turn. The most obvious thing is that the villagers who once witnessed George driving a car did not admit that they saw George when they looked back, because in the film, Saha often used the identity of the police to blackmail the villagers, and George? He is more like a servant of the people.

When I wrote "Confession", I mentioned that love should be moderate. Excessive indulgence has a very bad influence on the future of the child. The story in this movie is no exception. If the parents are too indulgent with the child, the child may It will be so "bad" that you can't imagine it. Especially like Waren in the movie, he is in an "elite family" and his parents are high-ranking police officers. Naturally, he doesn't have much time to care about him. Warren has no worries about food, clothes, and even more trouble. After all, parents can handle ordinary things. Excessive indulgence caused him to go farther and farther on the road of crime . I believe he has done this nasty thing more than once, only this time. , He was not so lucky.

Parents’ spoiling for their children, in the end, paid the price, but the price is really too high for the parents. At the end of the film, when George told the truth to Warren’s parents, their reaction was moving, and they can be seen. Love Valen very much, so they can understand George's love for his daughter. They know that the culprit of the tragedy is themselves, and both families have been hurt for this.

"No one can tell right or wrong, selfishness is human nature." The outcome of this contest is irrelevant. After all, it is not wrong for both parents to make selfish choices for the family. What the director wants to tell us is, even if we are Ordinary people, when faced with a role like the bad police in the movie, we have no reason to surrender and we must dare to resist. After all, "the police are the protectors of the people", and the people and animals who bully the ordinary people everywhere in the skin of justice What about it?

In the face of invaders, we cannot surrender without reason. We must try to resist. Whether we win or lose, all we have to do is protect our family.

After watching "Manslaughter", I also saw this film on the IMDB box office rankings, and the plot is exactly the same (many Indian films are exactly the same, and the storyboards are the same), but the male and female protagonists of this film have the same plot. The face value is obviously lower than "Hidden Manslaughter", but even if you watch it again, it's still pretty good. In addition, the time is really too long.

It's not as good as the remake, all the actors except the little daughter have basically gained more than a circle...
