Exaggerated drama has to reflect reality, so where are the points handed down?

Watching this movie is based on two labels: Bill Wilder produced, Monroe's famous film history.

After watching it, I didn't think it was a good movie. The story is simple enough, the core is clear enough, the characters are small enough but each feature is distinct.

I just think it's unnatural. After thinking about it, I use exaggerated comic effects to describe a very common and more recognized phenomenon-the embarrassment and crisis of married middle-aged men.

A man who gave up even the right to smoke and vacation for family work has not given up his youth fantasy, let alone the function of the body is still online. On the one hand, there are rational morality, social reputation and family, on the other hand, instinct, arrogance and release after depression. I believe most people can understand the male protagonist in this situation. This social psychology phenomenon, titled the seven-year itch in the movie, is believed to transcend the times and cultural backgrounds, and it can easily resonate with many men. How to choose, which one is more important, is a very hard-core question.

But this multiple-choice question was answered with a dramatic construction in this movie: Family and responsibility are the real men. It's a pure scum man who is drunk with flowers and grass. The drama is reflected in 3 points:

1. The idealization of the characters, a doll-like blonde, but as stupid as a junior high school student. The romantic plumbers are so vulgar and direct, so thorough and unpretentious. On the one hand, the psychiatrist declares that he is the saint of medicine, and at the same time induces the male protagonist to spend a lot of money to treat himself. He is an exquisite egoist. Except for the male protagonist, everyone is a symbol. For the core male protagonist, everyone else is a pure person.

2. Direct scenes, the male protagonist’s sexual fantasies, and childlike actions are all direct and pure. If you want to kiss, imagine how to kiss the female protagonist in a romantic scene. Overwhelmed by his own guilt and doubt, he directly boxed his male friend. In other words, the male protagonist’s psychological conflicts are directly spoken out and directly replaced by scenes, and are directly reflected in the interaction of the characters in the play. We don't have to think about it, the director has all filmed.

3. Ideal setting, cozy and elegant family environment, casual working environment (a bed in a separate office, and a female secretary who is always in charge), in short, everything is not about the psychological pain of the male protagonist in the seven-year itch All are ideal and will not cause any problems.

I can't help but wonder if this is really life? Although this is a comedy, why do you look for such a core phenomenon? If you want to discuss this issue in a serious and lively way, why not move the humorous point to the episode, the whole story feels fake and not funny at all. Not at all serious.

If the S of the movie is Monroe, I feel sad. I watched the movie for an hour and a half for a scene that did not appear in the movie.

Don't buy the account of 2b middle-aged men, but Monroe is so cute! ! ! I didn't really like the jokes in it, but I couldn't help but fantasize about wearing blindfolds on horses and "The American Women's Association will give me an award." . .

The Seven Year Itch quotes

  • Richard Sherman: [in Richard's fantasy] Miss Finch, please, not again tonight.

Miss Finch - Nurse: We have so little time. Soon they'll take out your stitches and I'll have lost you forever.

Richard Sherman: Please, Miss Finch. There is such a thing as ethics. Remember, you are a registered nurse.

Miss Finch - Nurse: Ethics? Once I had ethics. Once I was young. Once I had ideals. Once I was registered! And then you happened.

  • Miss Finch - Nurse: [in Richard's fantasy] Let's crash out of here! Let's steal an ambulance and make a run for the border.

Richard Sherman: Miss Finch, you're not fit to wear that uniform. You're rotten to the core.

[slaps Miss Finch across the face four times]

Miss Finch - Nurse: Beat me. Hit me! Beat me till your arms ache. You know I'll only come crawling back for more.
