Many people can’t understand why the doctor is reluctant to kill the protagonist, and he is willing to kill the lizard boy.
I personally feel that because the lizard boy is more different from human beings, the doctor feels better psychologically. After the lizard boy stretched out his tongue, the doctor was obviously disgusted, and his eyes became firm. This was an anatomy using it as a monster.
The protagonist’s horns and ears are in outline, just like a Halloween cosplay. His face is not hairy or deformed, and he can speak human words. It is too anthropomorphic. Dissecting him is like dissecting a living person.
If he has hoofs or a whole deer head, it won't work.
