Memories are raging like a flood

If you want to count the movies that have been watched the most times, my answer is this "Flood." I've watched this film that doesn't seem to be very appetizing. I actually watched it so many times. I didn't dare to say it seven or eight times. There must be five or six times. What's wrong with this? Had to open a small gap in my memory.

In fact, it is far from old enough to write a memoir, but the film "The Great Flood" always reverberates in the memory, and it is a trivial matter to write it out. By the way, seven or eight years ago, when I was still in university, our school was on Xueyuan Road in Beijing, opposite to the Peking University Medical Department. I didn’t have money when I was studying, so I looked around for part-time opportunities because it was close to the Peking University School of Medicine, and the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology of Peking University School of Medicine was nearby. This institute had different projects going on almost every week, so there were a large number of volunteers. Was recruited as a clinical pharmacology experimenter. To put it bluntly, it is the "guinea pig" of pharmacological experiments, but the "guinea pig" is generally used in the early stage of pharmacological experiments, and we are in the clinical stage, so we were recruited to replace the mice in the battle. Said it is a volunteer, there is still a sum of money given. There are hundreds to thousands, depending on the status of the drug and the cumbersomeness of the experiment. I remember the most time I got 3600, which was no small sum for the students at that time. When in the experiment, what we "guinea pigs" are responsible for is to take the different medicines, then let go of the arms and wait for the blood to be drawn. At the end of the day, there are as few as eight or nine bursts, with more than 24 needles. At first, the needles were pierced once. At the last few needles, the left and right arms were almost densely packed with needle points, and sometimes they could not be pierced, or the bleeding was blistered by the puncture. Later, it was changed to burying a needle, and a needle was buried in the arm. The suffering was a little less, but there was no room for bugging, and I could only stay honestly in the ward.

So the doctors bought DVDs and bought some discs by the way. At first there were a lot of films, but there are always unconscious people who secretly brought them back and never returned them. Because there is a lot of time to be a "guinea pig", so every time I go, I always watch the discs and jobs. Among them, the one that I watched the most is this "Flood". I have seen so many times because I have no choice but to choose. So I had to look at it again and again, it's better to look at something than to be silly. This made me somewhat understand the boring life in the prison, and it was also an unexpected gain.

Although I had watched this film many times before, it was very deep for the actor Christine Slater, and afterwards I saw it again in Wu Yusen's "Broken Sword", it felt very cordial. As for the supporting actor Morgan Freeman, this old drama character, he felt that his performance was the best in the film at the beginning. The actor's silly appearance does not seem to be qualified to be the leading actor, and he is somewhat overwhelmed. a feeling of. As for other more information, they were collected after a long time. For example, director Michael Seromon seems to have never heard of this name, but when I checked it, I found that his works actually include "Brothers" and "Rome". Although they are co-directed, they are also very awesome. However, these are all TV dramas. For movies, there are a lot less, and "The Great Flood" is one of them, and it's not a popular one. In other words, the distinction between TV dramas and movies is roughly the same. In another realm, it is just a soy sauce man. In "The Great Flood", another eye-catching supporting actor is Randy Quaid. His elder brother Dennis Quaid is well-known and known by some senior movie fans, and Randy Quaid himself is named Not in the annals of history, the only work that can be obtained is the role of the two cowboy bosses in "Brokeback Mountain" directed by Ang Lee, and the rest are all clouds.

The story of "The Great Flood" seems to be interesting. It can be compared to Gu Long's "Meteor Butterfly and Sword". In Gu Long's writing, the hero Meng Xingsun is actually just a small chess piece on the road to achievement by the big conspirator Lu Kagawa. An unknown new debut is a killer, hired to assassinate a seemingly impossible assassination mission. In other people's plans, he was only responsible for the soy sauce man who was killed when he came out. But the newborn calf is not afraid of tigers, but the little assassin did not die as planned. Instead, he stepped forward and gradually became the protagonist of the story. In the end, he made a counterattack and became the biggest enemy of the conspiracy. The story of "Flood" is like this. The bank escort Tom’s escort mission has been targeted before the start. In the internal and external collusion, his mission was originally only responsible for the first shot when the robbery occurred. The one. But the arrival of a flood made Tom not only not the first to be killed, but instead became a local bandit, official bandit and protector of the entire city. Like Meng Xinghun, he completed the transition from a small character to a hero. Unlike Chinese martial arts movies, although Tom here is a hero, he doesn’t look like a hero. He is more like a blue-collar, exhausted, and a little frustrated. There is also some anxiety. The identity of the escort matches very well. In the Chinese martial arts drama, the idol pie of Meng Xinghun walks, when he appeared on the stage, he was more handsome and cooler than Lu Kagawa. That being the case, why did Ryu Kagawa look for someone who looks like a hero? The editors wouldn't think about this kind of logic. It can only be said that American screenwriters and directors are still very good at finding actors.

And Christine Slater, "Flood" and "Broken Sword" are also one of the few films he has performed well as the protagonist. As an actor, when you almost forget that there is Christine Slater in Hollywood, he will always pop up in that movie suddenly, and as a supporting role, there are occasional masterpieces. For the Chinese, "The Lonely Man" starring Kristen Slater was introduced to Chinese movie theaters for a time in 2009. It is a pity that as a batch film, between coming and going, it is like a meat bun being thrown into a doghouse, all silently, and even a familiar face disappears. But when it comes to him, the impression left by him as a supporting role in "Interview with the Vampire" and "The Wind Whisperer" does not allow the protagonist at all.

Fortunately, I watched both his "Flood" and "Broken Sword", and for the former, there is a unique experience. In the cold northern weather that Christmas is approaching, I occasionally recall the gradual aging. The time, sometimes warm in my heart, seems to be really old.

There are few characters, a relatively closed environment, and the story develops gradually, but there is not much newness. However, there is a lot of water in the whole film, so it should be more difficult to shoot.

Three stars are given to the actors. It is not easy to make such a watery film.
