I don’t think it’s appropriate to use "black humor" to describe the atmosphere of the film. The plot setting and rhythm of this film remind me of the "Desperate Housewives" series. The black secret hidden behind ordinary people in Hepingding is what makes people interesting. The once-popular highway robbers, the crossfire between the bloody police and the bandits, and even the murders in the secret rooms have made people feel a bit boring. After all, they are too far away from my life. What is the fun? A person who really loves crime plot blood can only quench his thirst with this kind of film that is far from life.
