Efforts may not be successful, but it will be easy if you don't work hard. Fart TM!

There is an anti-intellectual saying, "Efforts will not necessarily succeed, and it will be easy if you don't work hard." Haha, you are just farting, just look at "Wild Horse" and you will know the consequences of not working hard! Easy fart!

"Wild Horse", co-produced by Turkey, France, Germany and Qatar, director Tinis Aegwynn is a young French female director of Turkish descent who graduated from La Fémis, the highest institution of film in France. This is her first feature film directed. .

The whole movie has a very obvious female perspective. Plus the director's Turkish origin. We can feel the shouts and resistance from the depths of the movie.

The film describes the story of five young girls in a remote town in the north of Turkey trying to break through the social tradition of suppressing women for thousands of years, chasing their own destiny, gaining freedom and resisting to the end.

In addition to the obvious performance of the film against the patriarchal society, the most attractive thing about the fat guy is the young bodies and blooming youth of the five young girls under the hand-held photography.

The five sisters were lying on the bed with their bodies in their pajamas, and the warm spring sun came in from the window, just like the plump women in Ray Noah's paintings with the lust of flesh.

Director Tinis Aegwynn said that the aesthetics and narrative of the film were directly influenced by Pasolini's One Hundred and Twenty Days of Sodom, describing the most horrifying reality in an alienated manner.

This kind of alienation will cause great discomfort to the viewer. The contrast between the beauty of the image and the grief of the plot creates a dizzying sense of absurdity. It shakes people's conventional aesthetic expectations and forces the audience to reflect.

Faced with the beautiful body of 17 years old, the unstoppable youthful breath. The director brought the audience back to reality in a cruel way.

The most terrible thing in the world is to tear up beautiful things for you to see. The whole film uses this slightly intimidating method to force us to think.

The film begins when the little girl Lale bids farewell to her female teacher. The teacher is returning to live in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey.

The female teacher is the only independent new woman in the film. She is highly educated and lives in the bustling and more open capital Istanbul. The culture is popular there and freedom is advocated. Women don't need to wear ugly gowns or turbans. Undoubtedly, it was the holy place in the minds of women all years ago.

This is the first day of the summer vacation. Lalei and her four sisters passed a beautiful beach on their way home, and they played with a few fellow teenagers on the beach. The youthful vitality was shining in the sun, beautiful and beautiful. Innocence.

It is a pity that the playful scene was seen by the conservative women in the town, and the rumors of the girl's indiscretion spread instantly.

Lalei's grandma gave them a severe lesson, locked them at home, blocked the girls from contacting the outside world, and made them give up the opportunity to receive education. Due to the early death of their parents, Lalei and her four sisters were all pulled up by her grandmother. The frightening thing is that he not only used violence, but also physically and mentally destroyed his three nieces. Leave them with eternal pain.

The girls who were restricted in their freedom began to accept discipline, become women in the traditional sense, and become good wives and mothers.

Learn to cook and take care of the stomachs of future husbands and family members.

Learning to sew and needlework have always been a measure of virtue for women.

Clean up the housework, be responsible for the tidiness of the house, and paint the ground as a prison, so that women are exhausted in the repeated cleaning.

The director showed me the beauty and bravery of youth in the first half of the whole film, and dug a deep hole for the audience.

The eldest sister fell in love with a teenager in the town, and the younger sisters united to help her escape the restrictions.

While watching a football match, Lale found that the female fans were even crazier than the male fans, so she secretly determined to watch a football match. The sisters worked together to facilitate this escape plan.

However, the scene of the sisters shouting frantically to help out on the side of the court happened to be caught by the camera, and then happened to be seen by the grandmother and the family members.

On the other side, the uncle happened to miss Lalei's picture because of a problem with the TV line.

In order to protect the girls from being punished by their uncles, the grandmother cleverly worked around. The director has a strong brushwork on the role of grandma. She is trapped in tradition. At the same time, as a relative, she hopes the girls can get out of her plight.

Director Tinis Aegwynn said that when she was a child, she was also subjected to traditional threats and oppression. At that time, she chose to compromise. Her split personality was thus put into the role of grandma.

In the second half of the film, the good things began to fall apart. After her own struggle and the help of her sisters, Lalei's eldest sister married a teenager she liked. Love is successful, but life has not escaped the traditional cycle. It's just a compromise in exchange for stability.

The second sister married a stranger who had only met once during the marriage proposal.

The tragedy doubled. The second sister was urged by the man’s family to ask for sheets on the wedding night to verify whether she was a virgin. When he saw that the sheets didn't see any redness, he was rushed to the hospital for examination. In fact, the second sister had been sexually assaulted by her uncle. The

second sister told the doctor that she was not a virgin and she slept all over the world. You can own my body, but my spirit can reach any place in the world.

Faced with persecution, the third sister chose to commit suicide. At the most beautiful age in life, it should be to acquire brilliant knowledge, to have a heart-to-heart love, and to go out and see the sweet period of life in the world, but because of the ignorance of a group of people, they have lost all their choices. We can only challenge tradition with the destruction of jade and stone and the end of life.

The director still left hope for the better. Lalei, after witnessing the tragedy of the second and third sisters, began to make an escape plan.

She started to learn to drive. Go to the town to get acquainted with the environment and keep in touch with the outside world. Stealing grandma's private money as savings for escape.

On the other side, Lale's fourth sister put on her wedding dress.

Lalei began to resist! I took my fourth sister to Istanbul, found the female teacher who appeared in the opening of the film, and started my new life.

In the final climax scene, Lalei led the fourth sister and a group of people in the house that was transformed into a cage, and successfully escaped. The director knows that girls must rely on themselves to reach the other side of freedom.

Because no one will have mercy on you, because even the closest grandma and uncle are people whose thinking is bound by traditional ethics, and their "good for you" is actually fulfilled by themselves. People live in a model that is labeled "good" by the old ethics, and they can only replicate this model continuously.

Education has two sides to tradition. While continuing the tradition, the rich content of education will also challenge the tradition. Therefore, since ancient times, women have been suppressed in education. The director did not shy away from showing the importance of education for women in the film. Independent female teachers have lived a different life through education. Girls have begun to awaken because of education and perceive the oppressiveness of tradition. The youngest Lalei received education and got the chance to escape.

Fat brother guessed that the five sisters were all part of the experience of director Tinis Aegwyn. The eldest sister was her joy after she escaped from the suppression; the second sister was when she faced the oppression and broke the tank when she fell; the third sister was after she failed. Resolute; the fourth sister is her unwillingness to repeat the same mistakes; the youngest Lalei, she hopes to travel back to her own past, so that the resistance can start early.

The word "easy" has never been used in the adult world, especially for girls.

What escapes the traditional strong adsorption force is education, learning, bravery and wisdom.

Don't think that we are far away in the world in the movie. In fact, China and Turkey are burdened with thousands of years of historical burden. The deep-rooted patriarchal tradition is still deeply rooted in rural China today, and there is still a market for patriarchy in urban areas. After nearly a hundred years of evolution, the status of women has only entered a more refined bird cage. Prejudice, stereotyped prejudice, symbolic like a black cloud all over women's heads!

Efforts and continued efforts are still the only way out.

In that beautiful seaside town, the story of "Wild Horse" with five girls resisting imprisonment in the name of religion and pursuing freedom has not yet unfolded. It is at the time of the beauty of youth and the closure of old vulgarity and ugliness. In that tragic rendering, It brings a great shock to people both visually and in terms of plot. The hedge will never be able to trap the wild horses, and the pace towards freedom will never stop.
