Fall into the pit

Occasionally I watch a disaster movie. I think the feeling of doomsday created in the movie is a little more interesting than the feeling of doomsday in reality. At least the momentum is magnificent, and the scenes are mysterious and watchable, and are more ambitious than people in reality. There is much hope for the feeling of doomsday caused by selfish desire and ugliness. At least it will inspire people to think and reflect, and rein in the cliff, unlike the reality of the increasingly decayed world, which has no room for maneuver, which makes people desperate and disgusting. Which one is more terrible, natural disaster or man-made disaster?

Therefore, on March 2nd, someone invited to watch the disaster movie "The Lost of Doom" and went. It turned out to be another bad film by Nicholas Cage. The king of bad movies is really hopeless. I didn't look at him, it wasn't his fans. Only after I went I knew he was there. Not just him, there is nothing to watch in the whole film. The plot is ridiculous enough not to be thrilling, and the scene is not grand. There are not even handsome handsome guys who are particularly eye-catching. The whole is inexplicable, a group of neuroses.

It can be said to be a religious movie. In the end, I didn't say clearly what was going on. I felt that the movie had dug a big hole and didn't make up for it. Where are the disappeared people? Millions of people all over the world suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. Later, it was discovered that most of them were people who had absolute faith in God and children. The pastor said that the human world will have a seven-year disaster. God will take those people to take refuge in heaven, and those who remain will give their lives for God. What does this movie want to say? Have faith? It's ridiculous. I also have my own beliefs, but it is definitely not a religion. This is simply forcing people to believe in God, but it is unconvincing. Even the love of God should not be like that. The choreographer doesn't understand love at all.

Some of the disaster films I’ve seen gave me the biggest feeling: You must first have a pair of good shoes, preferably a pair of combat boots, which can step on any ruins to protect your feet from injury, walk freely and run. It is necessary to master all aspects of knowledge, especially high-tech knowledge, have strong hands-on skills, and be able to save themselves in a panic. You must also have a strong body and a strong heart, able to withstand all kinds of hardships, run fast, have great strength, have sufficient endurance, and have a strong desire to survive, believing that you will survive. It seems I can only wait to die!

Every time I watch a disaster movie, I wonder what to do if I can’t be with the one I love. How can we know where the other party is, whether it is safe, and how can we cross the obstacles to reach him? Once a disaster occurs, it is almost close to the horizon. It is really hard to imagine, and to endure the absence of news in a way. At the end of the day, if you are not together, then distance is meaningless, right? The truth is desperate. What's the fear if we are together?

The film is relatively boring, and the act of digging a big hole but not burying it is even more contemptible. From the beginning to the end, there is no explanation of the reason for the disappearance and only the clothes. If you pass the gospel or the like, let’s pull it down. Take a look at the "Time Crack" in 1995. "How do you justify yourself." It’s fair to say that Cage’s performance is quite satisfactory and he is worthy of the actor’s self-cultivation. Unfortunately, he always squanders himself in bad films one after another. The harder he performs, the more he loses his reputation, which makes people sad.

Humans laugh when they think about God. Although I have no doubts about the existence of God and the like, I still believe in the ignorance and insignificance of being a human being. The film is not good-looking, but it is not enough to give 1 star and 2 stars to tease everyone. If you are interested in religion, check it out

  • Chloe Steele: [from trailer] The God my mother talked about would never do something like this.

  • Rayford Steele: Chloe, are you okay?

Chloe Steele: Yeah, but Mom and Raymie, they're both gone!
