This should be a book tailor-made for Denzel Washington. It is basically his one-man show. The central idea of the film is particularly suitable for contemporary times. It is rare that the director is willing to explore the compromise between reality and ideal without too many eye-catching elements, self-reconciliation and redemption, temporary loss and final return.
