First of all, the most impressive thing is that Mr. Zhan acted super! class! Great! I saw film critics saying that he was supporting the whole movie alone. This is really not an exaggeration. Without his real and completely convincing performance, this movie would undoubtedly be a big disappointment. Teacher Zhan plays a very heavy role, and performing eight personalities at the same time is both a challenge and a burden for him. People who do not understand English can easily feel the differences in accent, tone, and emotion between different personalities, and can match them appropriately with this personality. It is hard to imagine how he presented each distinct personality by fine-tuning his facial muscles. The micro-expression of Mr. Zhan's personality transformation is just right and weird, successfully adding a bit of thriller atmosphere to the film. Many expressions are quite complicated and subtle. I think he must have done a lot of practice in front of the mirror. In addition, my favorite scene is that after Kevin is awakened, his personality is constantly changing to the part of the dialogue with Casey. Mr. Zhan's interpretation is absolutely amazing!
