OMG!
These are two words that I keep repeating when I watch this movie. Of course, we must first pay tribute to those brave who love life and use their lives to defend their rights. Not them, maybe many people have forgotten the term "the guy who steals lives in the hands of death". Yes, in our opinion, getting sick is a trivial matter, but in those countries where poverty and war are frequent, people are even more afraid of hunger than fear of death. They can lie on a simple operating table without any anesthesia facilities and say "I hurt, but I know that hunger hurts more than death."
Looking at those thin black bodies, I must remind myself that they are human! I can't compare them with the humans I know and accept. They are in the desert, wrapped in wind and sand, but their lives hang naked in the hands of God. What do they think about in their short lives? I am sitting in front of the computer, what am I thinking about? I cried, and for the first time in my inferiority and sinful soul, I felt that I was really useless. They may not have the right to talk about their ideals, because they are too close to heaven. And I don’t lack water or food. After more than 20 years, I can finally look like a person. What have I done? Apart from dissatisfaction, resentment, and grievances, what is my attitude towards life?
When the crying child was holding a grenade and was at a loss, his mother was shot and fell in front of her; when he cried harder and pulled the wire of the grenade away, everyone fought for him, and together from behind him Rush to the common enemy. Have we ever thought about it? How much is life worth?
Sarah, played by Julie, goes to the camp alone to save her lover who shares her ideals. But on the way to escaping with him, he was chased. He told her to run first because he had a leg injury; she stopped shortly after running away. He yelled and hobbled over to her, and she looked at the mine under her feet. She loosened her foot in a range where she could guarantee his safety. She, and her love fell into ashes. At the end of the film, he went to her home to meet his daughter. At that time, the little girl was playing the tune she played when he first saw her...
Maybe the meaning of life is that you can cherish every life, including your own.
