True adventures and fake biography

Actually I don't like this movie very much, but I was lucky enough to attend the premiere, so I'd better write an article to make up the number.

In the opening speech, the person in charge of Amazon, the producer, said that they had wanted to make a grand movie that showcased human moments a few years ago. "Hot Air Balloonist" is just such a work. Wow, are you looking forward to it? ! So what kind of grand and heart-warming story is it?

The story takes place in the 1860s, the adventure story of a young widow (yes!) and an aspiring scientist boarding a hot air balloon. It sounds simple, but it's actually that simple.

The heroine of the film, Emilia, was born in a wealthy family. He and her husband were engaged in a hot air balloon expedition, but lost him forever on a flight, and was languishing ever since. Until the meteorologist James visited the cottage, he wanted to take a hot air balloon to collect weather data, and this would break all previous flight altitude records. Emilia made three pushes and three moves, and finally decided to come back out of the arena.

On the day of take-off, Emilia, who was coated in white powder, first came to Thomas for a 360-degree roundabout, followed by a three-and-a-half-round turn in the air, a half-and-a-half leg side somersault, and a 90-degree forward roll (by mistake). The director tried his best to render It's a matter of power, portraying such a courageous performance artist's female image. Standing on the side watching silly James, Hawking questioned his face all the way.

After the balloon took off, Emilia took off her makeup and took off her gym suit, revealing a serious face. During the flight, the scene of the death of her husband was flashed back several times. Because it is a biopic, I can't help but sigh at what kind of a great woman this is. Even in the 19th century, she can be so independent and self-reliant. It is really the light of mankind. I almost stand up and applaud when I think about it.

Unexpectedly, a search later revealed that the entire heroine was fictitious. Are you kidding me? What about biopics? When I recalled carefully, it turned out that the words Inspired by a true story were printed at the beginning of the film, "based on a true story", which can basically be changed to fly, let alone inspired. So the movie told you from the beginning, who made you fooled.

Of course, as far as single-production movies are concerned, the screenwriter and director have absolute freedom of creation, but as a social art, movies are inextricably linked to the real world. As an audience, there are different psychological expectations and criteria for watching a biographical film or an adventure film. So if you think this is a biopic celebrating the great 18th-century women, then picture the sheep.

As an adventure film, in fact, some scenes still make people sweaty palms. But this is also a clichéd adventure film: why the gentle scientist wants to rise up regardless of life and death, and the desperate widow hears the call of the dead husband... Some people say that the film feels a bit "gravity", I think it is more like "center of the earth" Adventure.

Oh, in the end, I still don’t understand. Dogs have parachutes. Why don’t people? ?

Little Freckles said at the opening that many of their scenes were actually filmed on hot air balloons. On the first day of filming, they had a little surprise. After finally landing, the director said it was good. I recorded all your screams. The directors of the world are generally fine.

It can be seen that the two protagonists are acting very hard, but for some reason, the freckle actor is now shrouded in Hawking's halo with one eye and one head up. Let alone the fierce competition in this year’s movie year, even if there is no jade in front, it is difficult for the little freckles to nominate with this film. (Slaps are welcome)

I believe that when Eddie Redmayne took this book, he was determined to work with director Tom Haber to become the first protagonist Felicity Jones. The advancement of the whole story is much like Jones's "Wild Hunter" exploration, high effort in exchange for efficient benefits. The studio shots on the high-altitude hot air balloons test the director's judgment on the light and the way of framing. Generally speaking, they have handled well, with frequent changes in rain, mist, frost, and butterfly and snow trickle. Of course, there are still slightly more ground dialogues. If the proportions are adjusted, the dramatic conflict effect will be better.
