Memory is an unreliable thing

At first I watched this film as "Shards of Memory", but after a while I found out that it was wrong, totally different, but after watching it later, I found that the plot setting was quite interesting. As a director's debut work, although there is no mastery, but with such results, it is completely passable.

Of course, there are not many people who are as ignorant as me who regard "Unknown" as "Memento". Although both are basically the director's debut work, I was also confused by the translation and somehow confused. . But there are quite a few people who compare "Unknown" and "Saw" together, which makes sense. Although "Saw" is also the director's debut, in comparison, it is not because of this reason, but the similarity of the story frame. They are all stories in the same room. There are not many characters, and they are all faced with difficulties and conflicts. In the end, they have an absolutely unexpected ending. Unfortunately, this "Fatal Memory" came out after "Chain Saw", and it did not surpass it artistically. In this way, even with the same wonderful story structure, the first person who eats the crab becomes a hero, although the latter may have no reference to the former. This is the cruelty of the real society. There is always only one hero. Since the former has already taken the position, even if the latecomers put in more effort, they can only succumb to others. Seeing "Chain Saw" filmed one by one, all the way to the seventh, it has become a series. The director of "Fatal Memory", Simon Brand, only launched a "Travel in Paradise" in 2007. The performance is still not popular, and there is still a long way to go to become a first-class director. . The director of "Chain Saw" James Wynn later released "Dead Silence" and "Death Penalty", and the response was good, although it was not a success, it was a little bit successful. But Christopher Nolan, the director of "Fragments of Memories", has long become a first-line director. On the road to success, he speaks with his own works and climbs one peak after another, which makes people admire.

In fact, only from a commercial point of view, this film is still very compact, allowing people to follow questions all the way, until the truth is suddenly understood at the end. It’s just that, as smart as "Memory Fragment", there are multiple thinking left to people, and will not tell you the truth in a crude way. He just gives you a clue for the audience to think along, while "Fatal Memory" is just for people to follow. The plot is gone, and the movie is over and the story is over. Compared with the former, the judgment is superior.

This story still exists for people to think about. Regarding human nature, whether it is good or bad, and how to distinguish the divisions, is a difficult problem. In this film, the actor who woke up first slowly learned that he was an undercover policeman, followed his thoughts to think, and gradually understood who was the kidnapper and who was the kidnapper, the contest between justice and injustice. It is evolving layer by layer according to the path of the main theme, but the final big reversal tells the audience that the result is not like this. The real mastermind is actually the male protagonist himself. Just like an easter egg in a game, when it was finally opened, it was found that the result exceeded everyone's expectations. Surprising, there may be some shocks, but it is by no means touching, nor does it leave people with more thoughts. A fairly good story, deduced in the path of business, is fairly exquisite, but it is never surpassed, and it ends with the achievements of art.

The film’s starring role is James Caviezel, who was acclaimed in "The Passion of the Christ" directed by Mel Gibson. I don’t know how this hero was mixed up like this, ruining Mel Gibson’s training for a few years. In the past, I was actually reduced to making bad films like "Outsiders". Moreover, James Caviezel did not have much performance as the first actor in "Fatal Memory", but Barry Pepper's performance as a supporting role was a bit brighter. This is temporarily in "Saving Private Ryan". Outstanding actors, although they didn't have any big productions afterwards, as supporting actors, the impression left by them has always been very clear, but it is also rare.

I'm not impressed, it seems to be okay, suspense films are not horror
