Excerpts of lines

In my opinion, this is a film about the Three Dharma Seals (Impermanence of all actions, No self of all Dharma, and silence of Nirvana) and Zen's "living in the present" movie. But because of the handsome guys, the mysterious Socrates, and the success-failure-success plot, it is impressive. Socrates may be an illusion, maybe our real teacher. The self that Dan encountered on the clock tower was indeed a heavy dirt on everyone's heart, peeling it off, it was painful, but being dragged by him, he could only fall into endless darkness.

An excerpt of the lines is as follows:

On the campus, Socrates said: "Be engrossed, things are happening. Live in the present, don't indulge in the past and the future, otherwise you will miss the present." He helped Dan look at the campus with a new perspective. Dan found that the characters were vivid and colorful, as if everything had jumped out, rushing over. Socrates said: “There is always something happening, and every moment is an extraordinary moment.”

Later Dan discovered that “the person you have the hardest to fall in love with needs the most.”
“Knowledge is not the same as wisdom. Wisdom is Action"
"Death is not terrible. The terrible thing is that most people don't live seriously."
"Be grateful for everything you do. Don't live sloppyly."

Socrates (S) wants Dan after the car accident. (D) The conversation at the beginning of gymnastics training.
S-Warriors are not perfect, invincible, invulnerable people, but absolutely invincible. This is true fearlessness.
D-What kind of training do you think I can do? I had an accident?
S-accident is also a kind of training! Life is constant choice. You can choose to be a victim or anyone.
D- Simply forget what happened to me?
The S-Warrior takes action, the fool just reacts.
D-What if I can't do it?
S-That is the future, discard this idea.
D-How do we start?
S-There is no beginning or end, only doing.

Dan was unable to participate in the Olympics, frustrated and angry.
S-Almost all people are in the same predicament like you. Dan, if you don't get what you want, you will suffer. Even if you get what you want, you will still suffer because you can't have it forever.
D-Do you think I can't do it?
S-It's not important.
D-He said I can pass it 100%.
S-You don't need him or any letters to jump on the ring and do what you love.
D-No, I need it! I meant to jump on the ring to get the gold medal! I really need it!
S- "Gold Medal is my desire" "As long as I get it, I will be happy" Listen to yourself!
D-This is a dream, Socrates. I can't imagine that dreams are bad.
S-You are not succumbing to dreams, Dan. You succumb to something that you don't and won't have in a mud-control. Accept the facts beyond your control and see what will happen to you? You may or may not be able to participate in the Olympics, you may or may not be outstanding in the competition, there is only one possibility.
D-I decided to give up training a long time ago, but you still don't give up, tell me to retrain! This is what I love!
S-Want to get the gold medal? Living in the fear that you might fail? Is that what you love?
D-No, I dream of standing on the playing field and winning. So even though I fell, I will try hard. ...I'm sure I love it. I'm very sorry. I thought I was strong enough, but I didn't. Because I really try to give up everything. But I can't do it.
S-I tell you, soldiers will never give up what they love!

Socrates took Dan up the mountain and said that he wanted to show him something. Dan was looking forward to it. When climbing a mountain, Socrates said: “There are only three rules: illusion, sense of humor and change. Illusion, life itself is a mystery, don’t take the effort to understand. Sense of humor, keep a sense of humor, especially things related to yourself, this is The source of all power. Change, nothing can stay the same forever."
Climbing up the mountain, Dan found that there was nothing special, just an ordinary stone at his feet, disappointed. Then I understood: "This journey brings me the happiness, not the destination."

Before going on the field, teammate Tommy asked Dan what magic is. Dan said: "Throw away all the garbage in your head, don't care if you can Can't reach the goal. As long as you stand up, you will complete each action firmly. It has nothing to do with the gold medal, and it has nothing to do with your father's expectations of you. It has nothing to do with anything, focus on that moment." The teammates continue to be nervous. Tell the hope for the gold medal. Dan looked at him like he was looking at the past, trapped in unnecessary worries.

Dan went to the game at the crucial moment, recalling the dialogue with Socrates:
S-Where are you, Dan?
D-Here.
S-What time is it?
D-Now.
S-What are you doing?
D-This moment (Living in the moment).

The music is a little too "atmospheric", too flashy and not peaceful enough.
