The film is starred by the prosecutor Ricardo Darling in "Mysterious Eyes", once again presenting a mysterious accident. The actors on the Chinese side are all Chinese living in Argentina, without familiar faces. An uncle who has a depressed personality and usually likes to collect incidental news in newspapers, accidentally brought home a desolate Chinese boy, and miraculously discovered that this Chinese boy was a party to the incident in the collected news. Surprised and sighed, the uncle, inspired by the guy, unexpectedly discovered his true love by accident. In the end, a perfect ending is inevitable.
I don’t know if this is a masterpiece of friendly exchanges between China and Arab states, but I have heard the most standard Chinese in foreign movies for so many years. It’s not Cantonese, it’s not a mixture of Korean and Japanese, and it’s not English or Chinese that you don’t understand. In short, it’s a Chinese that can be understood without subtitles. It feels more or less respected. . Of course, Argentina can indeed be regarded as a friend of the Chinese. At least, their country, like China, also has an island that is occupied by people, the Falklands. In the film, when the uncle recalled the sad reminder of the past years, the war mentioned was the famous Falklands War. The shameless British occupied a small island in front of the Argentine home thousands of miles away from their own land and has not returned it yet. Just like the Japanese with a dead skinny face, I have to say that the Diaoyu Islands are not Chinese. Not long ago, Chinese leaders expressed a clear intention to the world, believing that Falkland Islands belong to Argentina, and the Argentines have reasons to win back. Perhaps it is to let the Argentines know more about China, or perhaps it is to be grateful, in response to this friendship, to shoot this film, tell a Chinese story, to express the spiritual connection between Chinese friends. We should also appreciate such kindness.
