A life without pilots that is biased and needs pilots

After watching this film, of course people who like music can't help but mention its soundtrack. But I don’t want to talk more about it, because as far as a movie is concerned, no matter how good the music is, it also serves the plot; besides, in essence, I don’t think it is a musical movie.

Starting from the title, there is no pilot. Does life need to be piloted? Of course. Life is like a boat, and it is easy to yaw without piloting, just like Josh with delicate and sensitive emotions in the film. But life is not exactly the same as sailing. You cannot rely solely on other people's piloting. When appropriate, you must know how to navigate autonomously, just like Quentin in the movie. Parents can't ignore their children, and they can't just matter. Spiritual navigation is the most important thing.

When such unfortunate incidents as school shootings occur, public opinion and society often condemn the perpetrators, and at the same time give the victims and their families the utmost sympathy and help. But the relatives and friends of the perpetrators are often ignored. Compared with the families of the victims, the relatives and friends of the perpetrators with conscience may suffer twice as much psychological pain. At this point, in addition to Josh's father, Josh's girlfriend Ann is also troubled. The huge contrast between the two appearances is a manifestation of this kind of injury to some extent.

Only finally did he know that his son was the murderer. Maybe he was too sensitive or sincere to start killing. Destruction is far more boring than construction.

Excellent movie, I really like it

Rudderless quotes

  • Quentin: I've heard the donuts in here are better than sex.

Sam: You're doing it wrong, then.

  • Sam: You know, lemme ask you a question first. You're a heartless bottom feeding motherfucker. Well, I guess it's not really a question. Is it?
