I don't know why the score is so low. I have seen three versions of Tchaikovsky's ballet at the Mariinsky Theatre. I personally think that the screenwriter has a lot of respect for the original composition and the arrangement, and also very cleverly adapted the plot. The fairy tale of a princess and prince fighting a mouse is adapted into an inspirational story of a brave girl exploring the unknown world and retrieving the love of her lost mother. Our time needs such a story, not a movie about premature love, abortion, and minor three, telling contemporary Chinese girls to be brave to explore, to break through, to discern, and to be worthy of owning.

So ugly. Originally, I didn't have any expectations for the story, and it was purely for the actors and visual effects, both of which were unsatisfactory; the pretentious performances and exaggerated and vulgar costumes were extremely shocking; the so-called "visual feast" was nothing but overturned. The vulgar stacking of paint buckets has no aesthetic sense at all. It's not gorgeous, it's mediocre. Now Disney really makes everything like animation, and it's that kind of extremely low-level animation; Disney's version of "Legend of the Gods"

50/100 This movie is a waste of McKenzie's innocence. The special effects design is lacking in imagination, and the art direction is lackluster. Perhaps the only advantage is that the hypnotic effect is top-notch. . The moment the heroine walks into the snow-white world is reminiscent of "The Chronicles of Narnia". If the producers have seen that movie and feel that they are good at it, they are really thick-skinned.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms quotes

  • Sugar Plum: [to Clara] The ballet tells the story of the Four Realms. How your mother discovered our world.

  • Shiver: [to Clara, as she's attempting to escape the tower] My dear, that doesn't look very secure.

    Hawthorne: [worried] You can't!

    [to Shiver]

    Hawthorne: It's not gonna work.

Clara: It's just the laws of physics.

Philip: Do those laws ALWAYS work?

    Clara: Always.

    [under her breath]

Clara: As far as I know.
